Dubuque, Iowa has mostly Impalas with the exception of a couple new Explorers and Tahoes.

Wayne, MI. Crown vics, transferring to taurus's as we slowly get money to buy them.
Our largest tax revenue is Ford's Michigan Assembly which builds all variants of the Focus and the CMAX. So they stick with Ford products.

My town has a mix of the Durangos and Tahos along with Crown Vics, Chargers and a few new Caprices.

I've seen a lot of Chevrolet Caprices recently. It makes me happy.

Most of the VA highway cops I see on my drive to and from work are rolling in the new Caprice.

We have Impalas that are being replaced by Tauruses and Explorers, with a limited number of motorcycle cops on Harleys.
Up until two years ago, we still had a limited number of Crown Vics running around. They're all gone now.

That's the most common. A few Mercedes E-Class and Volvo V70 still make the rounds.

U.S. Air Force loves them Impala's. But in Alaska, they needed something with 4WD so they went with the Ram and a few F350 Super Duty's.

Toronto Police still have a few Panthers - like most dept's, they're trying to get every last ounce of life out of them - but they've started to replace their vehicles with two new Ford products, the Taurus and Explorer.
Note: if you say to yourself "That paint scheme looks like a tube of toothpaste" you would be right. The cops themselves chose it. So much for civilian oversight of the police.
Still have a few motorcycle cops, but nowhere near as many as there used to be. Here's the two they operate, the usual suspects, a BMW touring bike and the classic police Harley:

Lenexa KS used to have a tank with a ram at the end of the barrel, but I am not finding any references to it or images. That was also roughly 20 years ago.

Austin is still rockin' the Panther; however, as those retire, they will be replaced with the Taurus and the Explorer. I have yet to see a Taurus in service, but I've seen a couple of the Explorers. Travis County (I have an Austin address, but live in the county, so I get the TC Sheriff if I dial 911) is phasing out all of their Panthers and replacing them with Tahoes and a few Chargers for highway enforcement.

All five departments (plus the county Sheriff) here on the Vineyard use the classic Crown Vic, but the Oak Bluffs police has a couple of Chargers and all departments have a few Explorers or F-150s because of the large number of unpaved roads here.
I like the Tisbury livery the best.
We've also got our own Special Tactical OPerations team (STOP) on the island. I have no clue what they're driving. Can anyone ID it?
We have real ambulances, but the EMS's use Tahoes, Suburbans, Explorers, or Escapes.

This was the previous livery. Can't say I'm too crazy about it. Our current chief of police came to us from Los Angeles, and one of the first things he did was ditch the stickers-on-white livery and adopt a traditional black and white.

my town has about 6 crown vics and 2 new chargers. We have a first gen durango that is still fully marked but it hasn't moved in a while. I'm sure it'll be stripped and sold off soon enough.

However the RCMP uses SHOs as well
Plus the usually smattering of Tahoes and a couple Expeditions, as well as a few unexplained random Impalas

Forever Louisville, Kentucky used mostly Crown Vics with a sprinkling of weird stuff like old Tauruses, a Sport-trac, and older Explorers. Now there using new Tauruses, Explorers (Which I haven't seen in person), Undercover and marked Mustangs, a few undercover Chargers Superduty's including a dually I seen doing speed patrol, and a few Expedition's.

The entire York Region in Ontario runs a mix of Ford Crown Victorias, Ford Police Interceptors (Tauruses) and Ford Police Interceptor Utilities (Explorers) with a few Chevy Tahoes thrown in.

Durham & Durham Co, NC - Crown Vic being phased out, Charger, Blacked out Caprice
Raleigh and Wake Co, NC - Crown Vic, Charger, Tahoe, and the notorious C6 Z06. C6 Z06 is mostly for promo events/intimidation purposes.
NC Highway Patrol - Charger, Tahoe
Most of NC city and county departments are running the Crown Vics, Chargers, and the rare Tahoe.
Local governments that have tons of money to blow because they use their police force for revenue purposes also use the Taurus.
